BOARDING

Located in North Canterbury, New Zealand (a peaceful 25 minute drive from Christchurch), Bark Royal caters for up to 35 dogs. All our units have underfloor heating and ample space to move around in. Our facility also boasts 17 fully fenced outdoor exercise yards that allow for a great deal of physical exercise and stimulation in a safe and spacious environment. 

 

In addition to a generous amount of outdoor activity, our beloved clients also enjoy a daily walk or play session as part of the basic boarding fee. We believe this is an essential part of meeting our objective for content and happy dogs. It allows our team to bond, connect and build relationships with each and every one of our guests. We want them to look forward to coming back!

Additional services can be added to your booking for extra TLC, should you require it.

These can be booked daily or just for a few days during their stay:

  • Brush/pamper session - $5 per day

  • Massage - $10 per day

  • Games or mental stimulation - $10 per day

  • Obedience training - $15 per day

  • Scent work training - $20 per day​

​

Additional fees to cover labour costs may include:

$5 per day for medical care that involves more than just a tablet or two at meal times.

$7 per day for public holidays.

$20 out-of-hours pick up or drop off fee.

 

Discounts are available for multiple occupancy and long-term stays.
